Release — every song is filed under its first release, not every place it later appeared. A song that came out as a single and was later folded onto an album still counts only as the single — the album version won't register as a match.

Year — no exact match needed to get warmer. The cell glows gold the closer your guess's year is to the answer's, with an arrow showing which direction to move.
